Conclusion: The analysis has removed half of the "Butters" compared with the initial poll. Of this half, which has now chosen sides, 3,0% moved to enemy compared to 6,4% moving to friend.

In other words, more than 2/3 have realized the actuality and changed their conditionality to something that benefits freedom. The last third of the Butters have chosen the side of the enemy - this is good, since they are probably able to do more harm as discussers than as fighters. Some will at least claim political correctness and current trend of relativism is our greatest enemy.

This means light ahead, since it is harder to fight stupidity than terrorists.

Another noticable fact is the size of the enemy. 2 millions have visited this site. That means 160.000 barbarics against free speech actually saw the pictures of Muhammed - on this site alone. Must be tough to hate freedom, and still browse for it on the internet.

Maybe I even convinced a few islamists that they have been brainwashed.

Wikipedia Publishes Cartoon Map

A wikipedia cartoon map has now been made, somewhat similar to my Cartoon Clash map (first published 6th Feb).

The wikipedia map is displayed on top of the newspaper list which is one of the best sources for information about the cartoon publications.

The page has thousands of editors for updates and verification, and the map is very detailed. Tough competition!

But please note: The map includes blurred publications (which I deliberately do not), and does not have legends to indicate censorship, violence, boycots and acts of war. In the world of Wikipedia, the ball looks calm and quiet. It only shows where the cartoons have been published in some form. Still, if you note discrepancies with my map, please let me know.

Update: Michelle Malkin has a Google map, however totally unreadable.

Naming the Future

News outlets are stumbling over their own legs trying to find the best nickname for the current conflict with the Muhammed cartoons.

The "Cartoon Controversy" has more than 800 news entries. Nothing bad here - move on!

The term "Cartoon Row" is almost just as popular with more than 700 Google news entries. This is a politically correct understatement of what is going on. It is used by most mainstream media. It somehow indicates that this is "stirred sentiment" and nothing else.

The name "Cartoon Intifada" seems to be picking up momentum with 67 google news entries. This is a wrong depiction of the conflict. It somehow indicates a rebellion, which it is certainly not. Unfortunately, many blogs repeat this term.

"Cartoon Conflict" has 33 hits, but must be considered too descriptive and weak to qualify for a common name.

The stupid name "Cartoongate" has 5 news hits. God knows who came up with this. This is not a political conspiracy.

I have started using the term "Cartoon Clash" on the map (17 news entries) but the clash is not really caused by the cartoons. The cartoons have had a catalyzing effect on an already existing conflict.

There is something in the making, that most have not yet come to realize. It is the great Clash of Cilizations.

100 years from now, should free countries stand up and defend their rights to freedom, it will come to be known as the 3rd World War.

Other than the 3rd World War, there are three other possible outcomes.

Either Islam will self-realize and undergo a worldwide Islamic Reformation and learn to live in peace and non-expansionistic existence with other religions. It is possible, but does not currently seem very likely. Only in very few societies are muslim reformists voicing opposition to the Dark Age mentality of Islam. Currently, the conservative forces of the islamic idea are too strong, and the core stands unquestioned by moderates.

The other possibility is that terror, immigration, muslim population growth, appeasement and dhimmitude will result in a worldwide Islamic state called the Ummah.

The third option is that the west will deport muslims supporting islamic law, and and ban all elements of Islam non-compatible with our concept of freedom.

The above is not politics. It is not warmongering. It is not opinion. It is fact.

Our ability to realize these facts, muslims and non-muslims alike, will determine the future.

The difference between them and us

As a tongue-in-cheek gesture, Egypt paper Al Multaga Dawli prints a manipulated image of the Royal Danish Queen Margrethe II as a belly-dancer. This is probably the worst mockering of danes imaginable. A royal insult used to carry the death sentence in Denmark. However, that was in the Middle Ages.

I hardly doubt any Danes will boycot Egyptian products because of this, burn their flag in the streets or attack their embassy in Copenhagen. If they do, I promise to update the map. If anything, danes will just shrug their shoulders. That's the difference between them and us.

Hi s*brant, tought you might like to know this,

My webshop with Muhammed drawing T-shirts you linked last week was, as you know, banned. A week ago, I modified the T-shirt design to a distorted logo behind a large CENSORED banner. This was initially approved by Spreadshirt.

But as the world conflict escalated this week, Spreadshirt got scared. The CENSORED design has now itself been censored , and all products removed from my shop.

The only thing they didn't ban: The name of my shop.

But it gets even better...

Spreadshirt has a cool Design-your-own-tshirt feature, that provides users with a gallery of many icons and fonts to choose from. With my own design banned, i tried using the Spreadshirt gallery icons. I was surprised to find a large collection of anti-war, anti-bush and blatantly anti-american images, but none for opposing opinions. For instance, the Statue of Liberty on a bullet, or how about the handicap symbol for "blind" (three black dots on yellow background) shaped as the map of USA?

And - browsing more default spreadshirt images, what face pops of, in a stylized design ... that of Osama Bin Laden!

USA version of the Spreadshirt does not contain the Osama standard icon. I tried to ask them why the Osama logo was only available in European shops, but they never answered.

I can't believe the doublestandards of companies like that! They willingly print murderers as icons, to leech of anti-american sentiment in Europe, but are afraid to publish a sign that says "CENSORED", because the shop is entitled Muhammed. Talking about censorship is also censored - isn't free speech beautiful?

Yes, freedom of speech is beautiful.

Important news: The Egyptian newspaper Al-Faqr published the Muhammed Cartoons more than 3 months ago during the muslim holy season of Ramadan, with no reaction whatsoever.

United Kingdom - Where are you?

Embassies are being attacked in the Middle East, and our flags are burning. More than 30 countries have now printed or shown the Muhammed cartoons, in acts of solidarity and support of free speech and the freedom of press, but the UK press is silent. Why? Out of respect for islam? Or should we call it fear?

Dear reader, want to make a difference? Write the english press and urge them to print the Muhammed drawings. A Moment of Truth

A new non-political international movement is rising.

4000 terror attacks after 9/11, the world was still slumbering. But 12 innocent satirical drawings in a Danish newspaper, the kind of cartoons printed daily by the thousands in newspapers all over the world, have changed the geopolitical situation.

Suddenly, a new understanding is emerging across political differences.

In recent years, the world crisis between Islam and the non-Muslim world has been discussed in thousands of books, countless television debates and millions of articles across the globe. It did nothing but divide us. Even former western allies were divided, and a wave of anti-Americanism has swept even the free western societies.

Now ridiculous circumstances have changed all that. A sense of humour has changed what all the debating could not.

For 1400 years, Islam has waged war on all surrounding non-Muslim civilizations. During the course of history, Christianity was reformed, Europe colonized the world and set it free again, dictators lived, reigned and died, and totalitarian regimes emerged and vanished.

But Islam stayed, unreformed. And today, it imprisons more than 1 billion people, moderate and radical souls alike, in a huge gap of difference to the rest of us. Across political divides, across national boundaries, across various degrees of freedom, across race, people or religion, black or white, rich or poor; it stands out as our opposite. Only Muslim reformists seek to lessen the gap. And their voices are quickly silenced.

In modern times, waves of immigrants from Muslim countries have entered Europe. All European countries have been subject to islamization; the process of slowly incorporating Islamic values and Muslim customs into our way of life. Far East countries like India, Thailand, Indonesia and China are experiencing the Muslim Jihad. Israel lives with it. America feels it. Africa suffers from it, and is too weak from disease and poverty to resist.

It is suddenly coming to our attention that Islam is not, cannot, and will not be integrated or assimilated to the values of freedom and democracy. Islam is not only a religion; it is a totalitarian and expansionistic political ideology.

It is now a moment of truth. The current events unfolding all over the world are opening our eyes. 12 cartoons have touched the soul of the free societies: The right to speak freely without fear.

The drawings did not cause this. But they catalyzed a world conflict dormant since the birth of Muhammed.

Now we know what his face looks like. And we are still in majority on this earth to stand up to it.

The current events will eventually lead to either a 3rd world war or finally some sort of Islamic self-realization that has been 1400 years in the making.
